CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – A fire that killed an 80-year-old woman in Clarksville has been determined to be accidental.

Clarksville Police said an investigation with Clarksville Fire and Rescue found the fire's source was two burners on the electric range.

Fire crews responded to the home on Trahern Terrace around 11 p.m. on November 5 and found it engulfed in flames.

Clarksville Fire and Rescue entered the home to find Carolyn Hinton, who was non-responsive. Efforts to revive her were unsuccessful, and she died at the scene.
