NASHVILLE, Tenn.- The Vanderbilt Children's Hospital will debut a Christmas catalog like none other this year, a gift catalog to buy presents for the hospital's littlest patients.
The hospital is taking part in the launch of the first-ever crowdfunded hospital gift catalog. Donors can visit www.GiveMiracles.org, to choose what type of gift they might like to give, such as art supplies, books or even gaming systems. Each donation stays local and will be given to children at Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt.
Vanderbilt will partner with Fundly, and Children's Miracle Network Hospitals to provide the children with gifts.
"Fundly is delighted to partner on Give Miracles with Children's Miracle Network Hospitals on this creative and meaningful way to concretely help children with medical needs this holiday season," said Fundly CEO Dave Boyce. "As the father of six children, I deeply appreciate the tremendous importance of this effort to harness crowdfunding's power to engage more supporters in the cause and to personally and directly connect donors with the hospitals and children who will be benefit from their generosity."
The site specializes in gifts for every budget ranging from $30 to $12 million.
