Clarksville Teen Faces Charges After Motorcycle Wreck

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn.- A teenager faces charges after a Clarksville man was killed in a motorcycle crash early this week.

Clarksville Police said that 66-year-old Walter Skowron was died of his injuries on Friday after being involved in a crash on Highway 76.

According to officials, 19-year-old Kayla McClellan was traveling on the Highway 76 Connector last Saturday and made a turn onto the Sango Road intersection. McClellan failed to yield to Skowron, who was on his motorcycle, causing him to crash.

Skowron was flown to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in extremely critical condition. He later died of his injuries.

Police said charges against McClellan were pending.
