NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Police arrested a man who they said tried to run over another man who would not help him get drugs.

The victim told police that 25-year-old Jeremy Johnson asked him to help him get drugs on Tuesday night. When he refused, he said Johnson left, but later came back to the 2400 block of Wooddale Drive in a car, and then started driving toward the victim at a high rate of speed.

The victim was struck, but he was able to roll over the hood of the car. He was not seriously injured.

Johnson was charged with aggravated assault.
