Motorcyclist Killed In Head On Crash

FRANKLIN, Tenn.- A motorcyclist was killed when he was struck head-on by a driver on Franklin Road Wednesday afternoon.

Police said that a 45-year-old man from Virginia was hit when a silver Infiniti crossed over the center line in the area of Franklin Road and South Berry's Chapel Road around 5 p.m. The man was taken to Williamson Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

The driver of the silver Infiniti, a 46-year-old, was expected to be charged in the crash.

The names of both the victim and the driver were withheld by police.
