Fire Destroys Montgomery Co. Home Day After Thanksgiving

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Several agencies responded to a home that caught on fire in Montgomery County Friday. The house was a total loss.

The fire started just after 5 p.m. Friday at a home at 4736 Piney Woods Road near Adams, Tennessee.

Officials said the fire started in the chimney and spread throughout the entire house quickly.

Crews from the Adams Fire Department, Montgomery County Volunteer Fire Service, and Hemlock Semiconductor plant were all called to the scene. The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office also responded.

When firefighters arrived, the house was fully engulfed in flames.

Officials said the house had been worth around $250,000.

No one was injured in the blaze.
