Driver Crashes Car During Pursuit In North Nashville

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A driver was taken to the hospital after crashing a vehicle following a short pursuit in north Nashville on Tuesday morning.

Around 5:40 a.m., a Tennessee Highway Patrol cruiser tried to pull over a vehicle for possible impaired driving on White Bridge Road, but the vehicle would not stop.

The driver attempted to turn from Ewing Drive onto Gwynnwood Drive, and crashed the vehicle.

He was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. His identity was not immediately released.

It is unclear what, if any, charges would be filed.

Ewing Drive was partially blocked while the investigation was ongoing.
