TRIGG COUNTY, Ky. – Two people were seriously injured in a crash that tied up traffic on a busy highway in Trigg County, Kentucky overnight.
Investigators said two cars pulled off of US 68, near the 21 mile marker, after one of the vehicles hit a deer when a tractor trailer slammed into the vehicles around 8 p.m. Monday.
WKDZ reported two of the drivers were taken to area hospitals and then one of them was transferred to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville.
The names of those involved have not been released. No charges have yet been filed.
The scene was cleared around midnight.
