NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A man turned in his own brother for allegedly burglarizing a downtown honky tonk.
A police affidavit said a witness arrived to find the Layla's on Broadway burglarized on Monday morning. Surveillance video showed a man had thrown a brick through the window of a garage door, and then squeezed through the hole.
Several bottles of liquor and $850 in cash were stolen from the business.
The burglar was later identified as Lonnie Thomas Duke, who was the witness' brother and an acquaintance of the owner.
Duke was arrested on felony burglary, theft, and vandalism charges.
