Marine’s Family Sues Landscaping Company After Fatal Crash

Posted: Updated:

NASHVILLE, Tenn.- The family of a Nashville Marine killed when his motorcycle hit a truck is suing the Brentwood-based landscaping company that hired that truck's driver.

Bradley A. Collier, 35, was riding his Kawasaki motorcycle north on Woodlawn Drive at Compton Road when he collided with back of a box truck, owned by Color Burst Landscapes of Brentwood, as it turned in May 2012.

Although crash investigators say Collier's speed was a factor in the crash, his family has filed a $15 million lawsuit against Color Burst Landscapes. They say Color Burst was negligent in hiring the truck's driver, Orlando Robles because he's an illegal immigrant and didn't have a driver's license.
