Man Shot At Gas Station Near Priest Lake - NewsChannel5.com | Nashville News, Weather & Sports

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Metro Police were called out to investigate a shooting at a gas station in the Priest Lake area Tuesday night.

A 23-year-old man was shot at the Mapco on Smith Springs Road just before 8 p.m. Police said a car pulled up to the gas station and a man wearing black pants, a black shirt, and red bandana over his face fired two or three shots at the victim, who was at the gas pumps outside the store.

The shooter then ran into the Chase Cove Apartments on Smith Springs Road. The suspect remains at large. 

The victim was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries. The victim's name has not been released.
