Man Robs Store Clerk At Clarksville Market

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Clarksville Police want to find a man who robbed a convenience store on Tuesday night.

The store clerk at the Kangaroo Mart on Memorial Boulevard told police a white man wearing a dark hoodie, a black bandana and sunglasses came in around 9:30 p.m. He approached her, demanded money, and said he had a gun, although he never showed one.

The clerk gave the man an undisclosed amount of money, and he fled the scene. Officers were unable to locate him after a search.

Police said the man may have been in the immediate area prior to the robbery, possibly walking around.
