MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – A bullet was fired into a small child's bedroom at an apartment in Murfreesboro.
A woman notified police after finding a hole in the wall and a bullet on the floor next to her child's bed at an apartment complex on Wenlon Drive. The child was fortunately not in the bed at the time of the shooting.
Police are not sure who fired the round, but questioned neighbors in the apartment next door. They found drug paraphernalia and weapons inside that unit.
Police are looking to match the used round with one of the guns.
If they match, it's likely one of the three neighbors will be charged with reckless endangerment -- possibly later this morning.
