Pedestrian Struck, Injured On Rosa Parks Boulevard

NASHVILLE, Tenn.- Police said a person was hit by a car while crossing Rosa Parks Boulevard Friday night.

The incident happened on Rosa Parks Boulevard between Monroe Street and Taylor Street around 8 p.m. Rosa Parks was closed while police investigated the scene. There is no crosswalk at this location and witnesses said people routinely crossed here.

Police have not released the name of the victim, nor said how seriously the person was injured.
