CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – School officials said they have been given the ‘all clear' by the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office Bomb Squad and that no device was found after a bomb threat was reported.
The school posted on their Facebook page that they had received an anonymous phoned-in bomb threat around 12:10 p.m.
Students were relocated to Smith-Trahern Mansion, where school officials said they would dismiss early due to the unknown time period it could take to clear the school.
Clarksville Police and officers from the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office secured the school to search for any possible devices. Around 3 p.m. school administration was debriefed by the Sheriff's Office and told the school was safe.
School officials said that although classes were dismissed early, all after school athletic practices and games would take place as scheduled.
