NASHVILLE, Tenn. - A man was arrested after police found cocaine and thousands of dollars stashed at his house.
Police said they went to 32-year-old Gary McBride's house on 9th Avenue North on a narcotics warrant on Monday.
During a search, they discovered 85 grams of cocaine and $12,617 in cash.
They also searched the home beside McBride's, where police said his mother lives, and found an additional ounce of cocaine and $39,640 in cash.
McBride was charged with a felony drug offense of having drugs within 1,000 feet of a school. His bond was set at $500,000.
McBride had been arrested in September on a drug conspiracy charge.
