SALEM, Ky. - Kentucky State Police said a missing elderly woman died after suffering a heart attack and crashing her car into a ravine.
Police said 88-year-old Mildred L. Croft left her residence in Livingston County around 4 p.m. Monday, failed to negotiate a curve, and went down a steep embankment.
She was reported missing Tuesday morning.
Croft had prior medical issues, and the Livingston County Coroner said it appeared she suffered a massive heart attack which caused her to crash.
