NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A former cheerleading coach has been indicted for soliciting a minor in Smith County.
Officials with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation said 35-year-old Sabra Swaims Gentry was indicted by the Smith County grand jury on one count of solicitation of a minor on Tuesday. Gentry was accused of sending sexually explicit texts and having sexually explicit conversations with a minor in November 2012.
She was arrested and taken to the Smith County Jail. Gentry was the cheerleading coach at Smith County High School. It was unclear if she was employed at the school at the time the solicitation of the minor took place.
