NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A robbery victim tried to get his money back by jumping in the back of the robbery suspects' pickup truck and holding on for three miles.
The victim told police he was out for an early morning jog near Bell Road in Antioch on Wednesday when a pickup truck pulled up and a male and female jumped out and robbed him.
They took money and drove away, but not before the victim jumped into the bed of their pickup and held on for a three mile stretch down Interstate 24.
He was able to bail out safely near exit 62, and was not injured. The suspects were able to get away.
Police were questioning the victim to see if they could get a good description of the two robbers. They were driving an older white pickup truck with a blue stripe.
