NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A burglary suspect was taken into custody after cutting a hole into the wall at a Dollar General in Antioch.
Police responded to a burglary alarm around 4 a.m. Wednesday at the Dollar General on Bell Road. When officers got on the scene, they sent in a K-9 unit who sniffed out 56-year-old Arthur Vaughan, who was hiding inside.
Police said he was able to get inside the store by cutting a 4-foot hole through a side wall.
Vaughan was charged with burglary, possession of burglary tools and drug paraphernalia, and vandalism. He was being held on a $22,000 bond.
