Armed Female Suspect Robs Gas Store Overnight - NewsChannel5.com | Nashville News, Weather & Sports

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Police have been looking for the armed female suspect in an overnight robbery at a gas station in the Clovernook area.

A woman reportedly went into the Mapco at the corner of Lebanon Pike and Spence Lane just after 2 a.m. Thursday. The clerk told police the suspect pretended to want to buy cigarettes, but then brandished a gun and demanded money.

The woman then left the scene on foot.

Officers and K-9 units were brought to the scene to look for the suspect but were unable to track her down.

Through surveillance video they were able to get a good description of the woman.

The suspect was described as a woman between 30 to 40 years old wearing a blue and white striped shirt and blue jeans.
