NASHVILLE, Tenn.- Tennessee Gov. Bill Haslam and First Lady Crissy Haslam hosted the 10th annual "Tennessee Season to Remember," commemorating victims who lost their lives to violent crime at the First Baptist Church in Downtown Nashville Thursday evening.
Governor Bill Haslam gathered with families who have lost loved ones to murder in a time designated for families to join together and find comfort with people who have experienced a similar loss. Each family placed an ornament on two memorial wreaths in their loved one's honor.
This is the 10th year for the "Season to Remember." It was started by former First Lady Andrea Conte who is also a violent crime victim.
