Man Shot While Leaving Market

NASHVLLE, Tenn.- Metro Police said a man was shot just moments after leaving a store in South Nashville

It happened just before 8 p.m. on Lewis Street. Officials said they don't have much to go on at this point.

The victim told them he was leaving a store on Lewis Street when he was hit by a bullet. The injuries aren't life threatening but police don't know why the man was shot.

Anyone with information about this crime was asked to call Crime Stoppers at 74-CRIME.
