Charges Pending After Fatal Crash In Clarksville

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Charges are pending after a man was killed in crash in Clarksville early Sunday morning.

Police said 26-year-old Tegan K. Papageorge died at Gateway Medical Center after the crash on Trenton Road around 12:30 a.m.

Papageorge was driving a Honda north along Trenton Road when a Nissan Titan traveling in the southbound lanes turned in front of him to get on 101st Parkway. The Honda hit the Nissan, and Papageorge was ejected partially through the windshield, and then back into the vehicle.

The driver of the Nissan, 23-year-old Kristen B. Miller, was taken to Gateway with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police said Miller failed to yield to the Honda driven by Papageorge. Charges were pending and the investigation is ongoing.

Police said this is the 16th fatality in Clarksville this year.
