FRANKLIN, Tenn.- A suspected shoplifter now faces felony charges for nearly running over a plain clothes police officer.
Franklin police were called out to Cool Springs Galleria Saturday, to help arrest three shoplifters. An officer got in front of their getaway car, but instead of stopping, the driver hit the gas.
The officer dove out of the way and was not injured.
Police are now searching for 24-year old Dabney Frey who is wanted for Aggravated Assault. Frey also goes by the names "Moe-Moe" and Dabney Dean. Police think she could be in Nashville and still driving her gold colored, 2003 Chevrolet Monte Carlo, Tennessee tag G-1-4 3-3-Y.
Anyone with information about Frey was asked to call Metro Crime Stoppers at 74-CRIME.
