CHEATHAM COUNTY, Tenn.- Crews have been called to the scene of a house fire on Highway 12 in Cheatham County.

Officials said the fire was at a home on Highway 12 near West Cheatham Elementary. The exact location of the fire was not available. Crews from there Henrietta Fire Department were on the scene battling the blaze.

Witnesses told NewsChannel 5 that the home appeared to have been completely destroyed by fire. It was unclear of the residents were at home when the fire began. No information about possible injuries or a possible cause has been released.
