NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A report of three children taken from a south Nashville motel turned out to be false, according to Metro Police.
Police said the three young children were found safe in Memphis on Wednesday morning. They do not believe the children ever left Memphis.
The kids were reported missing around 8 a.m. at the Travelodge on Wallace Road, just off Harding Place near Interstate 24.
Police issued a "Be On The Lookout" (BOLO) for a short time before they discovered the report was untrue.
It is unclear if any charges would be filed in the case.
