MOUNT JULIET, Tenn.- The city of Mt. Juliet has a new Police Chief. Veteran officer James Hambrick has accepted the new position.
Hambrick was selected as the 6th Chief of Police of the city. He previously served as Deputy Chief before this new appointment. Hambrick will oversee and lead a staff of more than fifty and run the day to day operations of the Police Department.
Hambrick is a 17 year veteran of the Mt. Juliet Police Department and also a veteran of the United States Navy.
He replaces Andy Garrett who is now the city's Public Safety Director
