Families and friends waited in the early morning hours for their plane to land just before 6 a.m.

The soldiers walked off the plane into a final formation before being reunited with their loved ones for approximately 15 minutes. After the embraces and tears, the soldiers had to grab their belongings before being able to go home with their families, just in time for the holidays.
