Franchise Matchmaker Helps Small Business Entrepreneurs
NASHVILLE, Tenn.- A tough economy has encouraged many local residents to turn toward becoming an entrepreneur. Although the prospect comes with many risks, a new local company is helping budding entrepreneurs match their skills to franchise opportunities.
For the past year and six months Dan Carmichael and his wife Janet have taken Big Frog Custom T-shirts in Cool Springs and turned it into the #1 franchisee store in the country.
"If you had asked us what we were going to go into; no, t-shirts would not have been up there," said Carmichael.
The couple discovered the Big Frog Custom T-shirts franchise thanks to Dan Aronoff and Frannet.
"Well think of me as a franchise matchmaker. Essentially I help people find if business ownership is right for them and if so, which franchise will be the best fit," explained Aronoff.
Arnoff's company, Frannet, helps entrepreneurs find the best business opportunities to fit their skill set, interests and capital start up.
"It's really just essentially leveraging their skills sets, their interests and matching them up with their goals," said Aronoff.
Carmichael said their business has been surprisingly very successful. The Carmichaels said getting the help to find the best fit for their needs has helped them find a niche that is working out perfectly.
