NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Police believe a man who robbed a south Nashville gas station early Tuesday morning was involved in an earlier assault at a nearby restaurant.
A man walked into the Mapco on Smith Springs Road just before 2 a.m. and demanded money at knifepoint. He fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Police also believe the robber had assaulted someone at the Dairy Queen on Murfreesboro Pike on Monday night.
K-9 units were called in to search for the robber, but no arrests have been made.
