Robertson County Schools Temporary Lockdown Lifted

Posted: Updated:

ROBERTSON COUNTY, Tenn.- Several Robertson County Schools were placed on lockdown Tuesday afternoon for a brief period while officials investigated a nearby bank robbery.

Around 3 p.m. parents of students received a reverse phone call alerting them that Robert Woodall Elementary School, White House Heritage Elementary School and White House High School were on lockdown. Officials said the schools were placed on lockdown due to a nearby bank robbery at Regions Bank in White House. No details about the bank robbery have been released.

The lockdown delayed the afternoon release of students, but was lifted within an hour. No student, facility or staff were injured.
