NASHVILLE, Tenn.- Metro Police Detectives have asked for help to find a valued statue stolen from a local business.
Officials said the six-foot three-inch tall bronze statue of R. H. Boyd Publishing Company's founder was taken some time between December fifth and December 6th. The statue was bolted to the ground outside the company's offices and weighs in at several hundred pounds.
Detectives think the thieves may want to sell the statue for scrap metal. Anyone with information was urged to contact Crime Stoppers at 74-CRIME.
