No Injuries In Overnight House Fire

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A kitchen fire forced eight people living in a multi-family home in north Nashville to flee their home overnight.

The blaze started around 12:30 a.m. at the home on 26th Avenue North. Firefighters said it started in the middle unit's kitchen and then spread to the residence behind it.

In all, eight people living in the three units had to be evacuated.

No one was hurt.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
