La Vergne Police Report Rash Of Car Break-Ins

LA VERGNE, Tenn. – La Vergne Police are warning residents to lock their vehicles after a rash of car burglaries in the city over the past month.

Since November, police said 15 cars have been broken into in the Farmingdale, Dove Creek, McFarlin Pointe, and the Morningside subdivisions. Thieves have stolen GPS devices, cell phones, laptop computers, loose change, phone chargers, and other miscellaneous items.

Officers advise drivers to always lock their doors and remove all valuables.

Anyone who sees suspicious activity around houses or vehicles is asked to call the La Vergne Police Department at (615) 793-7744. If it is a life-threatening emergency, call 911.
