Shooting Occurs Blocks Away From Local Hospital

NASHVILLE, Tenn.- At least one person was shot Thursday afternoon just blocks away from a local hospital.

Metro Police were called to the scene of a shooting on Blank Street just after 4 p.m. on Thursday. Early reports indicated that a person had been shot twice at this location. It was unclear how serious the victim's injuries were.

Fortunately for the shooting victim the incident took place only 3 blocks away from Nashville General Hospital.

Police have not released any other details about the shooting.
