CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – A water main issue caused some problems for some residents in Clarksville on Monday.
Crews were called out to Lafayette Road, near Cunningham Lane around 5:30 a.m. They discovered a water valve was busted, and it was leaking water down the hill toward a house. Reportedly, the house suffered some water damage, but it was unclear how much water got into the home.
The water was turned off to some 250 nearby residents while crews worked to repair the leak. Crews worked quickly and were able to get the water restored to homes by around 3 p.m.
