Woman Stabbed Near JC Napier Homes

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A woman was hospitalized after being stabbed overnight south of downtown Nashville.

Police said the victim was with another woman when she was stabbed near Lafayette and Lincoln Streets, near the JC Napier Homes, around 12:30 a.m. Tuesday.

It was unclear who stabbed the woman.

The victim was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

No arrests have been made.

The shooting happened Sunday evening at a basketball court on Sam Ridley Parkway. According to police, the victim and others were driving away after the fight when a car pulled up next to them and shot into the car.more>>
