NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A man was found with stab wounds inside a motel room near downtown Nashville on Wednesday morning.
Police were called out to the Knights Inn on Spring Street around 10:30 a.m. after housekeeping found a man wrapped in blankets inside a room who had been stabbed. The housekeeper called 911.
The victim, identified as 56-year-old Kimberly Tyson, was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, in critical condition. Detectives will speak with him once his condition improves.
Police said Tyson has been arrested 131 times, mostly for public intoxication.
The investigation is ongoing.
