Columbia Dollar General Store Robbed At Gunpoint

COLUMBIA, Tenn.- Police in Columbia are search for two men who robbed a local Dollar General store over the weekend.

According to officials, two men entered the Dollar General Store on Nashville Highway around 8 p.m. on December 23rd. The men were armed with what police called "long guns" and demanded money from the clerk. The clerk at the register complied and the men fled the scene. No injuries were reported with the robbery.

Police described the suspects as two men, both around 6 feet tall. One man was said to be around 200lbs wearing black jacket, blue jeans, black cap with bandana over his face. The other suspect was believed to be between 160 and 180lbs and was wearing dark pants, bandana over his face and had a black jacket with symbol on back during the robbery.
