NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Two drivers were hospitalized after a crash in south Nashville on Thursday night.
Police said 38-year-old Kevin Anderson was driving a Toyota Corolla north on Nolensville Pike around 10:15 p.m. when he was struck by a Honda CRV driven by 55-year-old Ae Yim, who was traveling west on Brewer Drive.
Anderson, who was not wearing a seatbelt, and Yim were both taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Anderson was listed in critical condition, while Yim was in stable condition.
Police said the preliminary contributing factor to the crash is failure to yield on the part of Yim.
They also said there was evidence on the scene of alcohol consumption by Anderson, who was apparently driving on three tires. Toxicology testing will be conducted.
