Man Robbed, Shot In Madison

NASHVILLE, Tenn.- Metro Police were called to the scene of a shooting on North Dupont Avenue Monday night.

Police said a man was held up at gunpoint by three suspects and then shot twice.The victim was taken by ambulance to a Vanderbilt University Medical Center with a life threatening injury. The victim's name and age have not been released.

The motive for the robbery and shooting was not released. Officials have not released any details about the suspects.
