NASHVILLE, Tenn.- The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has arrested a man wanted in connection for an shooting with a Mount Juliet police officer.
The incident occurred at the Stonegate Mobile Home Community, just off north Mount Juliet Road on December 15, 2012. Officials said two officers went to check on a 56-year-old Michael McNabb who was threatening to kill himself. When they arrived, McNabb came out of the house and aimed his gun at police. One of the officers responded by pulling his own sidearm and firing several times. McNabb was hit in the chest.
McNabb was taken to Vanderbilt Medical Center in critical condition. He was treated for his injuries and released on Friday.
The TBI has charged McNabb with aggravated assault. He was booked into the Wilson County Jail on $75,000 bond.
