Facebook Threats Lands Man In Jail

COOKEVILLE, Tenn.- A Facebook fight that nearly ended in a parking lot brawl landed a Cookeville man in jail.

Cookeville police said they got a complaint that Justin Phann had made threats on Facebook and challenged another young man to a fight. When officers arrived at the fight instead of the intented subject they said Phann appeared to be intoxicated.

They arrested him for assault, public intoxication, and disorderly conduct.

Three other people were given citations.
