Mike Munchak, Tennessee Titans Head Coach
NASHVILLE, Tenn.- Mike Munchak is looking for a quarterbacks coach,
a running backs coach, and possibly much more.
After a disappointing
6-and-10 season, everyone wants the Titans to move quickly, but Munchak's less
interested in impressing with a big name hire this winter as he is in
impressing with a winning team next fall.
"I'm not interested in winning the press conference in
February," said Titans head coach Mike Munchak. "I got to make
good decisions because obviously, I'm running out of time myself as far as
being head coach if I make bad decisions with my hiring."
Tennessee dismissed running backs coach Jim
Skipper chief and Senior Executive Vice President/ Chief Operating Officer
Mike Reinfeldt earlier this week. Mike Munchak fired offensive coordinator
Chris Palmer and replaced him with quarterbacks coach Dowell Loggains with five
weeks left in the season.
