Shooting Victim Found In Car Dies From Injuries

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A 19-year-old man died after he was found shot inside a car in Antioch on Sunday night.

Police found the victim with a gunshot wound to the chest inside a car along Summercrest Boulevard around 10 p.m. He was rushed to the hospital, where he died.

His identity was not immediately released.

Neighbors told police they heard gunshots and an engine revving, but didn't get a look at the shooter.

Police have not released any details about a possible motive or suspects.

The investigation was ongoing.
