Goodlettsville Holds Change Of Command Ceremony

GOODLETTSVILLE, Tenn. - Goodlettsville will say goodbye to its longtime police chief and welcome a new one on Tuesday night.

The change of command ceremony will happen at 6 p.m. at Goodlettsville City Hall. The city will honor Chief Richard Pope, who announced his retirement last year.

Gary Goodwin, a 37-year-old law enforcement veteran, will take over as chief. Gary's selection came after a four-month search process done by the city.
