NASHVILLE, Tenn.- A new pedestrian bridge will soon grace the downtown Nashville skyline.
According to officials with the Nashville Convention Center Authority plans are in place to develop a pedestrian bridge spanning from the new 8th Avenue roundabout to the Gulch. The bridge comes with a price tag of about $200,000.
The plan for the bridge is part of the South of Broadway Strategic Master Plan that was made possible grant from the U.S. Department of Commerce, Economic Development Administration. The Master Plan includes green space, retail space and flood mitigation. Officials expect the complete plan to be done by February.
