NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A Metro Police officer was taken to the hospital overnight after he was assaulted during an apprehension.
Police said Timothy Johnson fought back against Officer Brian Theriac during an arrest on McCann Street around midnight, and was able to get away.
Officer Theriac suffered minor injuries during the struggle, and was treated and released from the hospital.
Johnson is now wanted on evading, resisting arrest, assaulting a police officer, and drug possession charges.
