NASHVILLE, Tenn.- Mount Juliet residents now have access to crash reports thanks to a new online service provided by local police.
The Mt. Juliet Police Department announced the new service on Wednesday. Residents can visit www.mjpd.org or www.mtjuliettn.policereports.us to access their crash reports, all they need is the case number given by police or the last name of a party involved and the date of the crash available. Users can download and print copies of the report.
Officials said the online service will improve the cost effectiveness and efficiencies within the police department and will be more convenient to the community and insurance industry.
Citizens can still obtain their reports in person at police headquarters if they choose.
